Things to consider for those forum members buying their first pool cue

This is just as important, as the balance. Unfortunately, there is not one tip that fits all. A hard tip, is a good place to start. you can always change it.

Why do pool players need so much time?

I agree with you on this. I have been saying this for a long time. Its the way its done that makes anyone, want to watch. Even some that wouldn't necessarily watch pool. You see this effect, in darts at the moment.

Things to consider for those forum members buying their first pool cue

One other thing to consider: If you like a rear weighted or forward balanced, not something you will be able to know, until you try some out.

Why do pool players need so much time?

This is very true, you see this snooker and pool. It doesn't matter what speed you play. Patience is the key. But especially, for those, faster than others.

    Dress code in tournaments

Anyone remember George SanSouci 2001 turned up in a tuxedo. I always think of fats, when he said ''putting tuxedo on pool player, is like putting whip cream on a hotdog''

Why do pool players need so much time?

Pt109, those last 3 frames, it sure felt slow. I don't think Robertson does him self, any favours in those situations. Turning down stuff he we normally go for. And the wall of shame, very good idea👍

    SVB-Fedor.... Texas Open

I wouldn't call the Europeans approach to this event, fun. I like the Americans, they are not as serious and seem like, they have more fun. way more laidback.

    Dress code in tournaments

I would not call what snooker players wear, casual dress. There only couple events with the polo shirts.

Why do pool players need so much time?

This i agree with you, there are only a couple players i like watching. It isn't just about the game, but the way they do it. Ronnie is one the other is jack lisowski is the other No one comes close to those two. If you watch the last final between O'Sullivan and Robertson. Robertson was so...

Shaft to Butt Joint Adapters - Thread Converters

This is what i thought this was about, adding length, rather than changing pin thread. I have seen those on ebay. should be called, joint pin converters. Converting one thread, allowing room for the other. Makes more sense.

    KO brothers tip review.

I don't put much value on price, any more. it all depends how fast you get through them, some last longer than others. The rate i play, good one, might only be a few months. Before the goodness is gone, so to speak. and thats doing nothing to them, once i get the shape i like. So i don't care...

Can i ask, what was wrong with the way, you had the old pockets?

    KO brothers tip review.

I said in my earlier post, i always thought they developed that tip, for what they wanted. Which don't mean that everyone else will like it, as you said its just a logo. I played with the Thoroughbred tips, i think mine was the hard version.not amazing, but alright. The best one i brought from a...
