    Style of the greatest players?

Bustamante, reyes, archer all played about above the cue. Today's players have gone a stage further, most with the chin on the cue. I don't think it matters. It's ether how your tought, or how grew up playing. I miss the days, when you would see guys on TV, with the big Strokes, making the big...

    which cue balance *feels* heavier?

Rear weighted is what feels heavier to me. Thats the most common I've come across. Most cases when you pull the bumper out, you will see that long weight bolt. I think length, also will play a part. Balance is a funny thing. When you can feel the weight in the handle. The balance Is further up...

Need ID of Wood in "Old" WHPro

Also the weight stamp has the same treatment, back to your question: it does look like a wood called ipe wood, also known as brazilian walnut. You see that color alot in hoppe cues.

Need ID of Wood in "Old" WHPro

Me Nether, apart from the points and ivory ring, it does look like it's been cared for.nomally the wood shrinks, and the collars pop free. So that part might have been redone. The badge also looks too good. But anyway at that price it is too high, if your going to convert it. I think there was...

Great video Dr dave, nice to see someone giving this game, the exposure it deserves!! This one of the hardest games you can play. Took two years, for me to learn this, playing every day. I don't play the ball in hand version. Just play from where it lands.any foul, white goes behind the head...

What weight are you using for your playing cue on 9ft tables?

If the balance feels good, it won't matter. What kind of tip your using, may also play a part in you having to the hit balls harder, to put on the spin. Could even be the shape. Some tips just won't react. I play with a cue that's 21.85 oz and 57.5'' long. I sometimes use a 18.5 oz cue the...

    Players Jumping on the Table

I'm not a fan of that reaction. No need for it. Its just a way of make a big deal, out of winning nowadays. Seems to be every matchroom event. Could you imagine, someone doing that on a snooker table, after a big win. They would probably get fined, for doing it!!
