Looks like it may be more of a conversion from an original 1950’s-60’s model (earlier 1940’s first execution models have the signature ivory hoppe ring) you can acquire untouched versions of original 50’s hoppe cues from $300-700 condition dependent. I would guess yours would fall into a similar...
According to US inflation calculator $100.00 in 1965 had the buying power of $945.00 now. A lot of these great classics have far exceeded their inflation value. Nice to have a great cue and a great stock in the same case 😎👍
This design was for sure one bill strouds distinct catalog designs. I’ve never seen another maker do it with the two ivory rings bordering the maple boxes like stroud did it. This is for sure a Joss west cue in my opinion. If you look up old joss west catalogs in google images you’ll find this cue.
