I tried that and it does work. But all the suction is in a 1½" area in the center. I'm drilling multiple 3/16" holes in between the bristle clusters. Then I'm going to make some kind of dome to go over the back of the brush with a vacuum fitting. Just tinkering. If anyone else has done this...
