Al Beckelhimer of Roanoke VA builds one of a kind cues in his shop..Al is only making 1-2 cues a year at this point and his work is really gaining popularity for craftsmanship and so few produced..i have played and owned many cues..and i would stack the playability of his cues to any out...

Been playing for years..no matter what you do there will be a time when your shaft gets sticky..like when you gamble for hours..ect..best thing i ever did was 2 months ago i got a pool glove..will never go back to naked again.. my shaft stays clean and the stroke is consistant all the time...

I too collect cues and look and think about new equipment for the game..also play in a few tournaments as well..will bet on any pool game whether i am playing or on the rail.. and i have put alot of time into the history of the game and its players over the last century..joy is what i am...

7 ball was more popular in the bars back in the day..you could get 2 racks for the quarter the table took..some games..the table was the only winner..you rack 6 balls in a triangle..like 8 ball..and then the 7 was froze at the center diamond of the foot rail..very seldom did you make the 7 on...
