Back in the day..i never saw another Cue maker other than Meucci that clear coated over Linen..I like the feel of the clear coat better than just wood..and it looks great..The Meucci Star of David had a white linen wrap coated and it looked the same 5 years later..I'd say Meucci pioneered this...
