I think it has more to do with their contracts with the Asian Television networks, they don't have those same contracts with U.S. TV networks. AND, the majority of their sponsors for these events do a large amount of business in Asia. It makes perfect business sense for these to be held in Asia...

Yes, those are all 10-ball matches. It's very rare that Shane plays anything else against those guys for money. He know's where his advantage is and won't give that up against those guys. But who knows, maybe he WILL end up playing Efren some 9-ball today.
