Just out of curiosity, why would they play this during the week and not the weekend? a 3 day event starting on Friday I think would be best unless there is a scheduling conflict that following weekend. Tough action for you Ray selling PPV's for a match scheduled the way it is... Gary

The difference is this. These 2 guys went through all the emotions of this match from the proposal, the woofing, the barking, backing out for whatever reason at least a half dozen times before this match ever came to fruition. Both of them I am sure would tell you they thought the same thing...

I agree JAM. While I've never been a Jim fan, his commentary is better this event than I 've heard previously. I am thinking maybe he is more subdued and less wound up than I've heard him before. It always seemed as though his voice was ramping and peaking at the end of his statement before. :)

I have to disagree Jay... I don't think the 8 ball could have been made even if he hit the 6 on the left side. I don't believe the 6 would catch enough of the 8 to throw it into the pocket. I was surprised to see Ralf even attempt the shot as opposed to playing a safety.

The 8 did in fact catch the side rail going into the pocket as evidenced by the replay. No matter what the actual culprit was that caused it, you just can't miss that shot at that level of play.

Poor Johnny. I bet he felt as though his chest would explode. Was a great comeback though and Alex, well, he played great like he always does executing the right shot and the right time. I would hate to be feeling what Johnny is feeling right now...

I think it was a missed kick Joey. I believe he was trying to spin the CB enough to come off the bottom rail and make a full hit on the 2. I know the shot with a ball on the middle diamond, ball spotted and the CB directly in line with those 2 balls on the middle diamond and loading up the CB...

The pressure is undoubtedly immense. Spain was really feeling it though. After the illegal break (which is totally dumb I think) where Spain pocketed a ball, sitting in your chair will definitely ice anyone. I really enjoy the format too!!
