    Tip lathe

Depends on the collets you use and where you use them. If it on a regular playing shaft, it's fine. If it's in a carom shaft with a parabolic taper you need to use a Delrin collet or something similar. I use a set-tru ER40 collet for shaft work and even joint pin work and it's incredibly...

Custom cues + Predator Revo compatibility?

Revo comes in all kinds of threads. It's about .842" at the joint and the weight is right around 4oz, so it weights the same as a normal maple shaft. If you want a good flush fint, whatever cuemaker you choose needs to have .840" is joint collar diameter. Why not buy a carbon fibre shaft from...

    Stainless Ferrule

Honestly, just say no. We all have customers who wants to reinvent the wheel and in 99.9% of the cases it's gonna be something stupid.. I've done Ti ferrules on snooker cues, that's a very different ballgame. 9.5mm shaft, 7mm tennon and the ferrule is super short, it weights something like 1.4...

Radial taps for sale - SOLD

I'll take two of the TiCN taps. I think these will work well after the regular tap has started the hole. Especially good for the pin install I would think. Message me here or Facebook.

What color of phenolic is this............??

That looks almost like canvas phenolic. It's got such a visible and distinct weave. Brown phenolic has such a huge variation to it, it can be hard to match unless you have something from the original source.

    3/8*10 pin size

That could be. I don't have the heart to cut the top off a $250 tap 😆😆

    3/8*10 pin size

Absolutely. It all depends on how you are set up I guess. I offer radial pins as one of my options, but I've always been a fan of 3/8-10 Modified as I have the ability to live tool the threads, which I feel give superior thread quality to using a tap. For Radial this is obviously different as...

    Favorite tips so far.

Some Soft tips still feel more crisp, while others have more of that mushy feel. Kamui black soft for instance has a pretty muted feel. While Caiden, Zan and Tiger has a much crisper feel. I sell all the big brands and do about a thousand tip changes in a year, so I get to try all kinds of...

    Favorite tips so far.

Caiden Warrior tips have a crisp feel to them. The Medium is about the same hardness as Taom Fusion. Have you considered Zan Hybrid Max? As for break tips, the Horo Black Storm is awesome if you want a synthetic tip. If you want a hard leather tip Zan Double Face, Kamui SAI or Gator are all...

    best cue tip tool

Painters tape and a single sided knife, like a kiridashi us definetly the best and safest way. Using some sort of sandpaper or file can become expensive quickly.. Or you could take it to your cue guy, If it's a tip I have installed, I'm more than happy to trim it for you after the first hours of...

    Cannot separate

Turn it upside down, use the least amount of penetrating oil you can, let it sit for fifteen minutes and it should come apart.

    3/8*10 pin size

There's definently makers that use the regular style 3/8-10 pin. I've seen Jerry Oliver and Jim Pierce cues with regular 3/8-10 pins, probably other makers as well.

Anyone have input on the TS1 by Triple 60

I will let you know as soon as I get them in stock. The Cynergy Shafts have had their fair share of issues, especially the ferrules, so I'm expecting TS1 to be a step up, they certainly use a better ferrule material and the tube itself is a more complex construction.

    Radial joint insall

Measure the center height on your lathe and figure out what steady would be best suited and check eBay and similar sites and buy a used metal lathe steady and modify it to work on your lathe. The scooter wheel ones will do more damage than they will help you.
