Need help identify and values found at an estate sale.

Fireplace pokers! Or, if you have a home table and kids play on it, let them use them. No jousting with them on bicycles however!

    I finally got it!

Tell them "sorry but I owe my drug dealer too much money and I am down to my last tube of model airplane glue". Try to keep a straight face!! That oughta throw their game off!!

Pool jersey's, love 'em or hate 'em..??

It's not my thing but I don't care if others wear them. I also prefer Sneaky Pete cues and cues that are also not "loud" and showy with a lot of inlays etc. I tend to like more traditional looking stuff that doesn't draw a lot of attention to me.

    ELVIS!

Maybe with the tip worn down to almost nothing the ferrule edge could tear it? Catch a bad nick in the felt?

    Shot Line Walk Up

I never walk up to a shot on the table clockwise since I am right handed. If I walked around the table clockwise to it then I over walk it and approach it again. If I am down on a ball and I feel I am just a little off I never twist or just turn a little. I stand up take a step or two away and...

    Vintage Cue Of Unknown Origin

I'd also guess Viking. Seems to me they have used a lot of that marbled looking plastic (or whatever it is) in their cues. I always liked that stuff it's very three dimensional looking and vintage looking to me although I only have one cue, a Huebler that that has it in the bottom of the butt...

(Unnoticed) 9-Ball Foul - Object Ball Out of Order

If no one (the opponent) didn't even notice that the 5 ball was pocketed before the 3 ball (for instance) in 9 ball then how could he later complain? Did someone else tell him that happened? You don't get to call a foul later down the line. It has to be immediately after the foul, before the...

switching between glasses and contact lens

It may depend on what insurance if any they have to cover the costs. Also some people just never have any problems with their vision. I never had a problem and never needed glasses till my mid fifties. Then I just started to need bifocals. I am 71 now and have gone in for eye exams at least...

    "Clean" 8 Ball

Dating a Huebler cue by its logo // Opinion of a Huebler now at auction for $150?

Vertical logo Hueblers only interest me or it better be a REAL good deal on a cue I would be particularly interested in. From watching Goodwill auctions in the past, I found that most things I was interested in always found their value realized by the end of the auction. No special deals were...

For your Pleasure, best personal Memory, Why

I had a relative that had a pool table when I was very young probably about 8 or 9 years old. Thought it was pretty neat aiming at a ball to knock other balls in a hole! A year or so later we got a table but it was just a thick plywood table. Had a lot of fun on it but never got past just...

Beware of this thief stealing here on this Forum.

Unfortunately putting up a want ad is going to draw a lot of scammers. It's telling the scammers that you have money that you are willing to part with. It's an easy scam to run it seems. One ham radio forum I belong to has restricted the want ads to small parts with lower values, trying to keep...

Your 1st Cue, 30 Years Later

My first REAL cue was a Huebler H1. I sold it to a friend after getting a Huebler H4. He took it home set it in a corner without being in a case. Had to go somewhere for a while. He came home and found his dog had discovered the cue and used it as a chew toy! So that was the end of that. He...
