The shaft is probably not original to the cue as the spacing between the rings are off besides the fact that it is backwards. The butt of the cue is very well made with quality materials. It's hard to tell from the pics, but the black linen wrap is done better than a lot of custom cues I have...

I wondered the same thing. I don't have any history on this cue. The joint looks like buck horn and the Hoppe ring is Ivory. Looks like it could be a Pierce cue to me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
