    RIP Dan Walton "Waldo"

You are more than welcome. Not sure if we have ever met but I did meet your brother a couple times. Waldo would lug him around to an occasional tournament from time to time. He was a proud father I know that. I wish I could of known I'd never see him again. I would of liked to have said...

    RIP Dan Walton "Waldo"

Great story. If only those walls could talk at the Silver Dollar! As recent as just a couple years ago we would all go down for the weekly tournament and Waldo was always there ready to get down. He was a favorite to finish at the top of the field in just about any bar table tournament, hell...

    Kudos to Earl Strickland

Nice post... Anybody who has followed pool long enough or been around Earl will be able to tell you a story such as this. The man truly loves the game and admires championship play like that of Efren. If anybody has seen the Accu-Stat tape where Efren makes the "z" kick shot on Earl, then you...

    RIP Dan Walton "Waldo"

Waldo passed away today in Indianapolis. He had been in the hospital with health conditions that he just couldn't shake. He was a well known player in Indiana and the midwest. He played great bar table pool. He is in a better place I feel, as he had been going through hard times the past...

Who will win? Earl Strickland vs Efren Reyes January 14-16, 2014

The 10 foot makes all the difference in the world. Earl is comfortable on it and has proven he can compete with the elite still today on a 10 foot. "The 10 footer is the teacher"

    Pool tournament@Casino= Warning!!

Casinos are definitely in with the local government. They got that big money make the state do whatever they say. We know all to well in Indiana they have developed their own "gaming control" agency compromised of mostly retired cops who strictly try to bust illegal gambling. They don't want...

    Open challenge $500per game

Your posts are a bit hard to follow. You may want to contact an editor if you wish to be taken serious. I have a friend coming to the area to work for a couple months that plays one pocket. He plays close to "bumper" assuming you know him and if you live in Dallas you should.

DVD Review- CJ Wiley's Million Dollars Challenge

Review I watched the documentary that CJ put together and have to say I couldn't be more impressed with something done by somebody with not much experience in this type of thing. However, knowing CJ personally, I have to say I'm not surprised because he seems to be good at whatever he decides...

Looking Back on Billiards - Was the $1,000,000 Challenge Pro Pool's BIG Chance???

Sounds like you had all your ducks in a row CJ. The documentary should provide people with a lot of interesting details about the event. One thing I know about CJ...he doesn't do anything half-assed. He gives 120% on everything. Where there is a will there is a way.

Rhea the new Chapter, without Gene

I don't understand her logic. She won the most money on the entire trip in Indianapolis and the people she beat still want to play. If she is choosing a lifestyle of living on the road and making money at pool then she has already made a bad decision. She was just a few hours north of Indy...

Rhea the new Chapter, without Gene

Well said... Action pool is definitely a drug for many. There are lots of top named players strung out on it. It's usually a life sentence once you catch the buzz. I'm thinking of several now as I type.

    Gamblers are Strange People

APA has definitely "dumbed" down the game. It's the worst league in pool. From what I hear before it's existence pool was a lot better. Yes they bring in lots of bangers and make a fortune off of them and don't put a dime Back into the game. If that's good for pool I guess smog is good for the air.
