I would have to disagree in this circumstance because I'm seeing a difference. I shot the same shot with 4 different cues, including a house cue with a cheap, flat tip, and made every bank except with this shaft, it came up short, everytime. I can make it by adjusting but it still doesn't...

It's not a carbon fiber shaft, it's their lowest deflection wood shaft. No, I don't believe that's it because in order for me to hit the intended spot on the rail and have the spin grab like all the other cues I have, I have to slow the shot WAY down.

I have one shaft at 10.8 two at 11.75 and one 12.8 with slightly different tip shapes and all of them spin it on fine except for the tiger. I have to assume it has something to do with how low deflection it is, just not sure why.

Okay, then we don't know exactly why but can assume it has something to do with how low deflection they are. But I have a carbon fiber shaft that sounds in banks exactly how I expect. Maybe something specific to LD wood shafts?

The only problem with that is that if they bank differently, without english, by changing their speed or angle then it will probably seem normal to them.

I felt the same way about the onyx tip. I was also slowing down my speed to let the English grab, but it's just not how I prefer to shoot.. that's the only thing I could think of too, it's so stiff, I think you might be right.
