Travel Cues - Full Length Good Quality 3pcs

I've been looking to purchase one of these 3 piece travel cues recently, specifically a Sheldon one. I emailed him a month or so ago and he said he was backed up with work so couldn't produce one anytime soon, unfortunately. If anyone is willing to let one of theirs go, please let me know. I...

    Where to Play in NYC?

This is really helpful everyone, thank you! I'll definitely check out Astoria Billiards and the 3 rooms in Jackson Heights. These are at least a bit more accessible than going out to Flushing each time I want to play. Hopefully I can make it out to Bayshore Billiards once I'm up to speed. And...

    Where to Play in NYC?

I've just recently been getting into 3C and have really enjoyed the game. I'd love to practice more but it's pretty hard finding a table here in NYC. I've been traveling to Carom Cafe, which is a great location, but would like to find a table somewhere closer to Brooklyn/Manhattan if possible...

    Pool Table Mechanic Directory

Anyone know of any quality table mechanics/installers in the NYC Metro area? The directory is sparse for NY (Mr. O'Donnell doesn't like to travel to the city) and the listings for NJ are too far from North Jersey. A lot of the available ones are recreational installers and I'd like someone up...

Hello, I have a few cues and shafts for sale. While I’m happy to take trade offers, I’m really just selling to help fund a table so I can start playing more seriously. If you have any questions, feel free to ask and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. From Left to Right Richard Phillippi...

    2 Rail Bank System Question?

I recall watching this video and one of the other techniques shown addresses your question. The system for two rail kicks was to take the midpoint between the cue and object balls, take that point to the corner pocket between the two rails you intend on using, and use that line to parallel...

    Raised inlays/rings

I notice this to occurring to rings and inlays that aren't made of wood. Because each of these materials expand and contract at different rates, they seem to stretch the finish with the fluctuations of temperature at the areas with more glue and different materials. I imagine this is what causes...

    Favorite cue tip?

Out of curiosity, for those of you who change tips frequently, are you installing these yourself or having them done by a repairman/cue maker? I imagine if the latter, it would get pricey, no? If the former, what is the preferred equipment? To contribute, +1 on the milk duds. They play sporty.
