My guess is that because marking the 8 is standard APA stuff, it's not mentioned on this LO's pre-tourney sheet.

My Summer Session was a tale of two disciplines, alright.... In 8-ball, I was 8 out of 10 (and should have been 9, grrrr), good for 5th place. Best I've done in a very long time. In 9-ball, I was 1 out of 6... tied for 84th place. Yuck. Its super frustrating to be so inconsistent.

As others have stated, these are pretty common tournament rules. Most of them are standard, regularAPA league rules. The food/drink rule is specific to that room, not an actual league rule. To clarify the second rule that is highlighted in yellow in the OP, some players play on multiple teams...

I tend to hit more softly than others, which is fine for 8 ball, most of the time, but it doesn't help me in 9 ball. Of course, this is also on 9's, so perhaps it would affect me less on the 7's... I usually have more issues from trying to hit harder, so I sacrifice shape for accuracy.
