Got this cue online from around Chicago area. It has no identification name or logo. I believe it to be around late 70's or early 80's. it is in new condition. Reason i think its from that era is from the brass pin, bumper and 57" length. looks to be American Curly Ash with white with black...

Cushion Facings...Need Opinion on Neo 60 vs. Neo 60 Nylon infused.

Its going on my personal table and the pockets are going to be extremely tough at about 4 1/8" on the corner pockets. I like firing balls in and figured with really tight pockets the slight reduction in bounce would be better. I know that it will be less rattle on the shelf since it is at 141...

Cushion Facings...Need Opinion on Neo 60 vs. Neo 60 Nylon infused.

Ok, I ordered some strips of Neoprene 60 and noticed they also had Neoprene 60 that was nylon infused. Figured what the heck give it a try. The nylon is woven in a diagonal checkerboard pattern in the neoprene. When i got it i noticed that the nylon infused was more stiff and harder to cut...

    ................................

I like phenolic or g10 on my jump cue. If you really want them to match you also may consider using 3/4 stainless steel joint on the jump. The length i decided on 27 for my shaft and 14 for the butt. The couple extra inches on the butt will make easier for long jump shots. The shorter shaft of...

What's the deal about people saying pool is dying?

Interest in pool started dying off rapidly in late 90's when Tech and computers started becoming common in the household. Don't let the marketing mislead you. The market is over saturated with cues and accessories; supply is definitely greater than the demand. Companies and individuals have to...

Pocket shelf depth on 9' Olhausen....

No problem Glen, just hoping I was in the right ballpark on the angles. I can measure the depth when i get frame and slate set up. I am sure the $1500 includes mileage, labor and expenses. I dont feel like im asking for that for free. True, knowledge is key and trial and error is the way to gain...

Green Label Mali Cue I.D. help??

Just looking for some info on this Mali. Maybe a cue brochure or something identifying the age and model number. I had a Mali in the early 90's. I had only seen them with 5/16x14 pins and 3/810. This one is 5/16x18. The joint is i guess brass but it has the luster of stainless steel. The wrap i...

FS 9' High End Maitland-Smith Table

Thanks Ray! I would really like to have this table for myself. Im renovating my Garage/Workshop and it would put me in a pinch on the money. If i could sell my Olhausen i would probably go ahead and get it. The construction on this table makes my Olhausen look like a playcraft from wal-mart. lol
