How do you think the Skip compares to the zylr playablity wise? What do you think of the Skip in general?

Are you a Superstitious Pool Player

How about for the foot rubs you mentioned in an earlier post?! :D

Who is the greatest straight pool player alive?

The only problem with that is that there would have to be standardized playing conditions first. Same pockets, same cloth, same rails etc.

Are you a Superstitious Pool Player

Sorry Dave, I am not typically a superstitious person. I believe that you pretty much make your own luck. That being said, I am pretty proficient at making the bad kind...lol.

Are you a Superstitious Pool Player

This always cracks me up when people thank God/Jesus...lol. I sure hope that, if the major religions are indeed correct, God/Jesus/Major Diety has better things to do then to "fix" games or sporting events...lol.

What is the WEIGHT of your BREAK CUE, or

The answer is yes, it did hurt like hell. When I was first learning the game the first guy to show me some things used to stand at the head rail and jump the ball off the end rail and catch it. Well, I thought this was pretty cool, still do kind of...lol, and would try to do this from time to...

    A funny Story I thought I'd share

I read a post about how someone got ahold of a budwiser cue and changed out the joint and made a new shaft for it...lol. Talk about a "hustler"!

Do cues, and all these tips make a difference?

I don't know if I adjust fast or I'm just not good enough to notice a difference, but I can typically pick up a house cue and play just as well as I can with my cue, assuming the house cue has a decent tip and doesn't look like a bow.

How much $$$ do you have invested???

Since I've been in the process of changing out cues and whatnot I only have about $2000 with my one cue and case but once all my cues that I have on order come in I will have anywhere from $4600 to $5700 with the cues and the case.

    Points...

They are typically called shadow points or backing points. This is usually about $100 additional for this style. Just tell the cuemaker what height you want them when you order it. Generally I think they are about 3/4 length points.

    Scrim Layout for Upcoming ER

I believe the cue is gong to be coming with a certificate of authenticity and I had planned on having them sign that. Since Edwin is in the Phillipines It would probably be too much trouble as he already plans on hand-delivering the cues to the states.

    Scrim Layout for Upcoming ER

I really would have liked to had Gerda in there somewhere and actually went back and forth on the issue. In the end I am happy with my choice and think the cue will come out great!

Pocket Blocks, LONG case and D-12 wanted

Vonn, Was there any extra room when you had the 31" shaft in there or did you have to squeeze it in there as it was?

    big cue tip

I personally prefer my tip be 12.87995 millimeters in diameter. I feel that the sub 13mm size gives me the extra spin I need!

That'll have to wait until the cue is finished. :)

Hey, someone's gotta make up for Gremlin's absence! :D I thought it was a nice tribute to some of my favorite players, but I guess I'm just another stalker. Oh well, I suppose losers like me eventually become stalkers so when you think about it, there's really nothing I could do.

New cues being made: 1st custom cues ever!!!

I would love to have that problem. I want to get a lathe to start trying my hand at repairs and eventually venture into making cues, but I have to wait until I buy a house! There's no place to put one in my tiny one bedroom apartment. :(

So you're saying I shouldn't have Joel match predators to my cue when my name finally comes up?
