For Billiards to get big...it must start from the collegiate level

I have seen it offered as a PE class in a kind of prep high school before and I have a friend a few years back that actually taught a class for a continuing education project in his area. High schools and colleges would be a nice addition, like to see it happen. Good thread.

LOL no doubt, in this economy chalk theft may be on the rise. I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts after you try it out.

$25 for a piece of chalk is ridiculous!

You are 100% right about the buzzes. I still don't own an IPad either lol. I'm a low to mid level A player if I get regular table time daily, a high B without much time. I miss a few more balls without that daily feel of playing. I have a no thought chalk before each shot process I have just...

$25 for a piece of chalk is ridiculous!

You are 100% correct on the bolded text. I have also been in sales and marketing 10+ years so I am familiar with the hypes. However I have been playing pool 28 years and that is not going to get me to pay $25 for a piece of chalk regardless who uses it. I'll drag a ball or use the so called...

$25 for a piece of chalk is ridiculous!

You mean there is something called don't blame the chalk blame the playa? Nah couldn't be Scott, lack of proper fundamentals and execution couldn't cause miscues, are you sure you are qualified to give this assumption. :D

$25 for a piece of chalk is ridiculous!

Good report and thanks for taking the time to post the info. Regardless of what it does I don't care if one stroke lasted a life time I will not pay $25 for a piece of chalk. It is exactly the title ridiculous.

    ✪ Classy Move "Dippy" ✪

When your asking for that kind of weight which it was obviously too much according to why the match didn't go off, and have the kind of money he has without the skills to go with it he should have picked up the tab. Telling people they need to qualify to play him is quite classy too, didn't...

    joined a TAP league

TAP is a different HC system. You can't compare APA rating to TAP. BCA & TAP's system allows real players without penalising them for improving. The APA just wants your money.

TAR PPV with Dippy and Bart has been cancelled

Good luck with Dippy involved. It's alway BS spots and rules, or just BS involved period at times. I guess that is what money buys someone with no skills.

TAR: Interview with David "Viffer" Peat AKA Dippy Dave

That is called having some morals as a human being, too bad more couldn't pick up on that.

TAR: Interview with David "Viffer" Peat AKA Dippy Dave

Both good interviews with Dippy & Chris. I have always liked Chris's game, he is well spoken. This studio is a brilliant idea Justin. I am looking forward to seeing some good pool in the future. Best of luck with it.

What pool room atmosphere...do you prefer?

Darker for me. I seem to play better meaning for some reason, likely just one of those things in my head, it makes the table & balls easier to focus on when down on shots, and I also see edges better. Probably sounds nuts, but I'll take dark. And a few good tunes in the jukebox as well.

    pool role models...

Nick Varner Nick Varner would be my choice in thoughts of professionalism, from collegiate title to world titles and as well spoken publicly and class shown as I have seen. Not anything I can recall being said bad about Nick from all the years I have been a steady fan / player. * Role models...
