How and Does, Matchroom Allocate Spots to Countries for the World Nine Ball Championships...?

Real sports have proper structure. They have an international governing body, and regional/national bodies, respectfully. National governing bodies are recognized by the sporting committee. Yes WPA could have performed better, there were many things to improve. Yet it is the only such recognized...

    Break in the face

If the player's intelligence level is low, of course it will. (There is a series of pro events where referees would do exactly that. Passing the cue ball to the breaking player - not rolling or throwing it along the surface, but gently handing - is a sign that the rack is ready to start, and...

    Battle of 8ball disciplines-Mick Hill (English 8Ball) v Francesco Bustamante (WPA/American 8Ball)

As usual with Sharks and Filippino audience, they do it for side betting sake. And it is always huge.

    Battle of 8ball disciplines-Mick Hill (English 8Ball) v Francesco Bustamante (WPA/American 8Ball)

"Best of 179", lol. I wonder if there is a line drawn when the Englishmen switch to a "race to" at some point. Like, "best of 1599", is that clear enough?

    Break in the face

Plenty of weird advice here guyzzzz 😬 Just like Mr Jewett said, don't pass the cue ball to the breaker until you are ready to leave the table. Grab it as soon as you are off to rack the balls and keep it until you are done. As simple as that. Yes, some may wonder why they can't be waiving their...

2023 World Cup of Pool (WCOP) 27June-2July, Spain (Winner $60K per team)

While there are for sure some people (players) who got inspired by MR bringing events closer to their places - that's a big stretch, giving so much credit solely to MR. The world is catching up? The world has never been behind :). This World Cup was great to follow, and last two days were...

    Break Stats -- 2023 World Cup of Pool (9-Ball), June/July 2023

Hmmm, that's interesting. B&R's and one-inning games / games with safeties are almost equal between these two years with very different format. Avg mpg is a wonderful lil piece here, proving the known fact that in scotch doubles the pace of play is a bit slower than in singles ;) * Magic Rack...

    Break Stats -- 2023 World Cup of Pool (9-Ball), June/July 2023

Looks like it is about time to issue a special prize. For the breaker who manages to down 5 balls under this break format. (Cue ball scratch does not count, lol)

Johann Chua is The King!!! Period. (Phil Yates called him Emperor, that will do as well) Hoist the colors! It's blue, red and white tonight! Can't imagine the celebrations in Manila and all over the islands!!!

2023 World Cup of Pool (WCOP) 27June-2July, Spain (Winner $60K per team)

Just another note. In every sport they try to operate, MR loves building hype around Cinderella stories. Nothing wrong with that, it's fascinating. But if I see that in WCOP final report (Team PHI conquers the cup being unseeded, overcoming the seeds, blah blah blah), any respect left to this...

2023 World Cup of Pool (WCOP) 27June-2July, Spain (Winner $60K per team)

Oh well, he actually did miss (or should I say, misplayed at least) the purple in the very last rack. Dear Matchroom! You hardly ever follow opinions from our respectable AZB Forums, so I'm just addressing the universe, but let it be. As long as such balls find their way to the corner pocket...

    Cleaning balls: wtf happened?!

I'm not a chemical scientist but my gut tells me water can not be harmful for phenolic pool ball in any imaginable way. Also, ordinary soap like we use daily to wash hands and/or body can hardly hurt - if applied for a short time. Would love to learn the results of your survey :D Maybe keep that...

    Cleaning balls: wtf happened?!

@Rubik's Cube Dear Sir, I think you should consider adding a similar set to your wonderful gallery. Good news is you will not have to dig for it, it is all open for DIY! 🙃

2023 World Cup of Pool (WCOP) 27June-2July, Spain (Winner $60K per team)

China looked unconvincing in the 1st round, and they still did not persuade me they are capable of going all the way. Not only it is Wang Can (reads close to "One Tsan", if anybody cares - MR commentary gang is definitely not one of those) who is prone to occasional mistakes in Chinese duo, I...

For those inquiring minds who want to get more familiar with Joshua's partner at the current WCOP, Moritz Neuhausen is a European champion and a world champion (both at junior level). He won U17 world title at 2019 and U19 at 2021.

Albin and Mario look very rusty, all of a sudden. It's impossible to imagine these are 2-time winners (with a runners-up in between those)
