How does this factor in speed of the hit? Hitting the cb hard increases deflection and decreases the effect of English on the ob. Vice versa hitting it soft. Sounds like when someone has a fool proof aiming system for kicks and banks but doesn't address shot speed. Useless imo

You originally said there are two things that affect spin. That's a gross oversimplification no matter how you try to rearrange your words.

Despite what Dr. Dave says, I think you can get more spin from a soft tip. I don't have proof or anything though. Seems like this would be easy enough to test though

I've never seen anyone say cf shafts will make you a ball or two better. Seems to be all in your head. But as far as maintenance and worrying about dings and warping, cf shafts win hands down.

Basically I want to be able to clean the balls and make them like new without wearing down the coating. My understanding is that the aramith cleaning liquid has abrasives, as does the magic eraser. Can I just do a damp microfiber cloth?
