With some of these shafts that fill in the empty space with foam to dampen vibration it got me thinking whether it would make any difference to fill in the space with some kind of filler. I never plan on using weight bolts, but I guess it would prevent you from using some kinds of extensions...

You have to understand that a sliding cue ball eventually will turn into forward roll. So to hit a stop shot over a long distance you'll usually have to hit a shot with backspin that turns into a slide right around the time it hits the ob.

He might not have noticed until you said something. I would always remind someone if I noticed but wouldn't blame someone if they let you foul. Might think a little less of them sportsmanship wise but he's not breaking a rule
