look at the box
from what i see something had to have been droped on that cue .
when i recieve a shipment of any kind , the first thing i look at is the box.
who has the box that was used to ship the cue.

this is my day job. painted 1967 mustang today . yes this is pool related!

duro gel super glue
i use the duro brand , have good results . face off the ferrule & sand bottom of tip with 100 grit paper . use air hose blow dust off,
apply glue to ferrule & tip spread around to be even . works good

try to polish it out
if the dent is very small you can use 1200 or 1500 hundred grit sand paper
to sand it out then use some light polish to bring the shine back to it.
be carefull not to sand off the finish . if its not bad, as have to hunt for it
to see it . leave it alone...
two different shafts
i would look at it like we all have a different personality, no two people are

i talked to paul hubler about 15 years about buliding me a cue .
i ask him how did he wieght and ballance his cues. told me he drilled
hole in handle under wrap and filled with lead shot and two part glue
to hold in place. i thought that was strange , did'nt sound good to

yes i agree helmstetter is quite a remarkable man, sense you mentioned
the golf clubs ,i have heard that before . when i hear the name helmstetter i think of cues. i have owned a few of his cues over the years.
he tought them well. good line of cues at a fair price...
what about china
richard helmstetter and a few other american cue makers went over
and set them up and taught them how to make cues. the j&j look alike
bushkas came from japan . i have had a few of them over the years
