Yes, I think you are correct. It may have gone through several ownership changes since opening as the MGM in 1978. But it has been the Grand Sierra Resort (GSR) for some time now.

It would have to be something newly built in one of the newer developed areas (south?). Downtown Reno is no longer a desirable place to be after dark, or even safe. Probably not feasible because the price of commercial real estate in all the newly developed areas is just too steep.
