    trouble shooter cues

Apparently, these cues are made to resolve the dilemma posed by those areas where a pool table is obstructed by a wall or pole. I found them at Ozone & Syberts websites. The 42" would suit my needs. Can anyone say which one is better or suggest a 3rd alternative?

short cue vs jacked up playing cue

When my pool table was installed, there was one area so close to the wall that they gave me a short stick to use there. Obviously, opponents take advantage of this. The forced choice of using this wretched short cue vs jacking up my Jacoby is quite frustrating. How do you solve this dilemma?

You might be a Redneck if...

"Redneck" stereotype Pejorative references regarding "rednecks" reflect an anti-working class bias. The term is traced back to the march by an army of miners who marched to assist their brothers in their struggle against thugs who were organized by management with the assistance of the state...

    boys v. girls

reflections Since a far lower proportion of women seriously play the game, then it is likely that a higher proportion of serious women players excel. As more women are entering traditional "male roles" it is likely that more women will also play pool seriously. If playing better players is...

    2nd ball break

I have had some success experimenting with the 2nd ball break in 8-ball. I am hitting in the center but low on the CB, raised my stance a bit, & incorporated a minor sway to simulate the hip movement for power in the martial arts. Should I also be modifying my grip? other suggestions?
