    It will be an open event with a maximum of 256 players. We do have a format which will be announced in due course. In fact, we staged the WPA World Pool Championship for nine consecutive years and that was a 128 man event. Staging the tournament in 2018 was never part of our plans. Thanks.

    Yes, we pay each player in the event a fee of $10,000 plus we cover their hotel accomodation for seven nights as well as air travel and transfers. In addition, each member of the winning team receives an extra $10,000 making it $20,000 in total.
