If I was a super strong player, the Joss tour might be the "regional tour" I'd have a lesser chance to be crowned. Frightening opponents at every other turn. Turning Stone jacks it up, and seems no walk in the park any time it's racked. Hat's off.

Disclaimer: I know nothing of the draw process at this year's Turning Stone. What sticks out to me is: How do you possibly do a non-influenced blind draw and have only two of the "top known players" match up in round 1? The odds seem astronomical. Just an observation...

I've played in Open qualifiers. It's simply an opportunity to gain free entry fee. Anyone can pay the Open entry fee and play without going through qualifiers. It's truly an Open.

2 observations: 1) If we only absorbed AtLarge's stats (TY!), it would conclude SVB crushed Jayson. SVB won, but he didn't crush. 2) There was little question IMO who had the nuggets to close it out. I question if JS will grow them to get to the top. I hope he does. I love watching him play...
