    What is the correct decision?

Your friend loses the game due to unsportsmanlike behavior of showboating by pocketing extra balls after winning the game. Just kidding! The pro and TD gets penalized with being a jerk and clueless, respectively. :(

Banking w/ the Beard - Didn't work... hmmm..

Well, to be fair, he did say "any distance". If the distance is far enough eventually the transferred spin would have to rub off. I know that transferred side spin can stay on an object ball for a really far distance, but I don't know about transferred back spin. Oh wait, you said "good...

Banking w/ the Beard - Didn't work... hmmm..

Thanks, Pat. I'm not sure about any distance, but I do think I have experienced it actually making a difference on banks where object balls are close to the cushion. I haven't done any proper testing of this theory, so I will simply agree to disagree.

    An interesting league situation.

    Good call. Thanks. :)

    An interesting league situation.

Without cracking a rule book for now, I will just call it my opinion. However, the official rule sets that I've played by (WPA & BCAPL) have a rule that covers a ball that has stopped moving but then later falls in without being hit again by a ball. Not being allowed to vibrate balls in is...

    Dynamite Interview, got me laughing.

Very resourceful... who'd have thought you could recycle an old torn wetsuit to make a new outfit.

Banking w/ the Beard - Didn't work... hmmm..

I think that if the object ball is close to the rail it can have an effect. Wouldn't you agree?

    An interesting league situation.

The shooter might argue that the cue ball feathered the object ball so thin that it was hard to tell but there really was contact that made the ball slowly drop. If he really believes that, without agreeing on someone watching the hit before hand, the doubt goes in the shooter's favor I do...

How Do You Fade This Move?

Since the opponent is the ref when there's no ref, you can tell him doing something like that is considered unsportsmanlike conduct and a loss of game. When he complains which he will, ask him why he thinks it's fair to do that, when you're supposed to let the balls stop rolling even on a foul...

Got stiffed by TX's top OB Tour woman.

I think both parties share some blame here. She is more to blame for not being more clear. If she intended to pay, she should have said, "Do you have change?", or, "I'm going to get change." But since you're saying she only said, "yeah. yeah.", it's pretty unclear what the deal was. I think...

Is it just me or is this funny

LOL. Me too. "Is it 2-ply? Cause if it's 2-ply I'll take a ply, one puny little ply, I'll take one measly ply!" :)

It would have been funnier if she had said, "Sorry, I just can't spare a square." :D

I recently read on AZ that pro player, Travis Trotter, uses a Cuetec. :) Here is a list of what some of the others use (or used): http://forums.azbilliards.com/showpost.php?p=684299&postcount=213

    Anyone else practice to rock'n'roll?

What's the point in callin' shots? This cue ain't straight in line. Cue ball's made of styrofoam and no one's got the time - from "Half-Step Mississippi Uptown Toodeloo" I don't know what the hell that means but I always enjoy that verse. LOL. Knowing Robert Hunter (lyricist for Garcia) it...

    8-ball practice

Am I reading that right? It seems to me it would be better to shoot the 8-ball after the first group is cleared rather than saving it for the end of the second group. JMHO.
