One of the most entertaining frames ever? Tony Drago

In the last shot of the match, Rory was not playing for the black 3 rails, just 1 rail. The black double kisses off the cueball and winds up going 3 rails to pocket it for the match. At the end he even says that it was the only pocket he could go for isn't it... Look at 12:44 at the overhead...

Legends Challenge play for the cheese poll

Speaking of a 5x10 snooker table converted into a pool table, there is one located at Tuckers Billiards in Charleston SC. Very nice pool room that's a big action spot around there and it's open 24 hours for action. Eldridge Tucker used to own the place and I'm sure Earl and possibly the others...

    ***Robb Saez Needs Sponsers***

The Robb Saez I know is a person I'll always consider a friend. He's a genuine intelligent person who plays pool at a very HIGH level and has a passion and knowledge for the game that many of his peers do not. I wonder how pathetic some peoples lives must be to be so negative about someone...

    Ginacue imitation cue from Philipines

Djay you may have seen a similar looking cue on ebay two weeks ago but not this one. Here is a thread that I posted almost exactly 2 years ago asking for help identifying the cue. People seemed to think it was from Gracie cues as well but there was never any confirmation on that...

    Ginacue imitation cue from Philipines

I acquired this cue in the process of helping someone out who was in a supposed pinch and got the shaft and the butt-end of the deal. I'd like to never see this cue again and am just hoping to get back a small amount of the money and irritation that this cue has cost me. It's a nice looking...

    Robert G. Ingersoll

Dave, it's a little early but I have an early 84th birthday present for you. It has been a while since I first researched information on Ingersoll and I had forgotten a little piece of information that I am sure you would like to hear about. Thomas Edison was also a great admirer of Ingersoll...

    Robert G. Ingersoll

I was actually going to post this article. It's one of the most fascinating and candid pieces I've ever read on a persons life and death. Thanks for posting.

    Robert G. Ingersoll

Here is a quote from Ingersoll that mentions billiards. What a great idea he is discussing. Why has this never happened? "Now, it seems to me that it would be far better for the people of a town, having a population of four or five thousand, to have one church and the edifice should be of use...

    Robert G. Ingersoll

It's funny how a thread about a fellow American of true intelligence, who most have not heard about, and his fascination with pool barely gets a notice on a pool forum. True intelligence is rarely visible to those ignorant of it.

    Robert G. Ingersoll

Dave, Ingersoll unfortunately fell victim to the same fate as Thomas Paine. Infidels are not remembered too fondly by history.

    Robert G. Ingersoll

Have you ever this name before? Most haven't. Although he was one of the brightest minds this country has ever produced. He was known as the best orator of the 19th century when oratory was the most popular form of entertainment. Mark Twain called him the greatest master of the English...
