Fabulous on all counts, Brent. Many moons ago I was told that four separate castings of the Romanique II sets were produced, but your certificate is the first documented evidence I have ever seen to corroborate this claim. The registration number of 1661 is also very informative… strongly...

I’m aware of four other Romanique I sets currently in the care of collecting friends… Bfriesth, K2Kraze, Boxcar and Bob. Does anyone know others elsewhere?

Mr B has an original Hyatt certificate of authenticity for his Romanique II set. Super rare. Hopefully, he might be persuaded to share an image later. :)

Those photographs are simply stunning, Mr B. I honestly believe it is nearly half a century since two complete sets of Romanique I have been pictured together. I have certainly never seen anything comparable before. I am deeply grateful for your help and kindness, my friend. Thank you! 🙏

Quite often nothing, sir. I know many players who use the same cue for both snooker and English 8 Ball. That said, when I was playing I did use a cue with a slightly larger tip for snooker.

Yes, that is a mystery for sure, sir. A fellow collector said Steve Mizerak personally told him that he was instrumental in the design of this set and the only examples ever cast were given to professional players of a particular tournament. I know debate has raged over which Romanique version...
