As much as possible, we do start our cues from scratch, not depending on ready-made stuff. Here's a 40-year old oakwood timber, imported from Germany, prep to be cut into squares for handles. We use hard rock maple, ashwood, and oakwood for handles in cues with wraps. No tanguile or some cheap...
