What ever happened to Jarrod Clowery? He and Billy Lah (sp?) came to a tournament in Morgantown, WV a number of years ago. Jarrod was a really nice guy with a lot of talent.

I didn't see Grady's name on the bracket. It is unfortunate to see a player of his caliber miss a high profile event like this.

Isn't this just like any other business venture? I agree with JAM. It is one's own decision on whether they pay any money into anything for the IPT. I would love to try the US Open. Could I compete at that level...probably not, but it would be neat to do it. That being said, I have a choice...

Anyone ever heard of Mike Shaffer? He is from West Virginia (somewhat close to Morgantown). People in that area say he would play all comers at one pocket. Also, Mike McClain from Uniontown, Pennsylvania? Still plays very strong, but used to unbelievable.

I will be spending a couple of days early next week in the city of Pittsburgh. What are some of the better pool rooms to visit and are there any tournaments? I will be there Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I will be staying close to the airport. Suggestions?

If you are looking for action, try the Purple Cow in Morgantown. It is a bar, but you won't have any trouble. Some of the country's best have come through there without a problem. The owner is a good guy. Also, Morgantown has a couple of pool rooms... Strokerz and the Met.
