Pros missing easy shot - why?

In the early 70's....Mr. Willie Elder took Mr. Willie Mosconi on an exhibition tour thru Texas. I was lucky enough to get in two shows one day and watch him run a 100 balls effortlessly. After the trick shot portion of the show, he would answer questions from the audience. After fielding all...

Given the number of quality cues made in the last 20 years, why are so few available?

All the left over cues that have been sitting in closets and unused for years......are all gone. I bought all of them....just to keep the prices higher on new cues.

    >>WATCH LIVE<< 2016 US Bar Table Championships, Aug 22-28

There really was not a conflict, Turning Stone has been filled for months with many on a waiting list. Sure, many would have liked to play in both events but sometimes things just do not work out in the venue booking department and if anything, Mark provided another event for the players that...

    Million Dollar Challenge Documentary

It was an amazing event for sure.....Up until that time, I didn't think I would ever see a performance in a tournament that would equal Bob Vanovers 9 racks and out at the Texas Open. But only a mere 15 or so years later....Earl shot the lights out.

    Mcdermott D-22 Questions

McDermott has a special refinish, rewrap, and a new shaft for around $250......the cue will be brand new when you get it back. If your old shaft is repairable, just a little more.

    Junior Norris 9-Ball Shootout June 23rd - 26th

Thanks for the report....really sorry I couldn't make the trip. Junior probably played in every tournament that I ran in on the old Southwest Tour, the McDermott Tour, and the National Tour. If possible, a complete report with pics would look great on the Main Forum.

    Warped Its George Case !!!

Saw a brand new Fellini twisted like a pretzel after a drive to Vegas from Texas. It was probably the short stay in Arizona and 100+ degrees in the trunk. The leather shrank and despite all attempts to straighten it out.....well....lesson learned.

    Cuemakers take notice

I used to have one of those jars displayed on my desk in the pro shop.....probably saved me a few headaches....I kept it full of pennies for people to keep score with during the tournaments.

The passing of Paul E. Huebler

I have been missing Paul for many years now....never got close to his shop to have a visit or to see him after he retired. He was always a must visit at the Trade Show and we exchanged many ideas about cues, the sport, the billiard industry in general. I think the last time I saw him was at...

BINGO!!!!!!!!!......I have a dozen or so stacks of boxes about 5 feet high against a back wall in my man cave. After moving a couple of tons of billiard crap, I completely lucked out.....and found that I had put all the American Cueist mags in the first couple of rows. Found wanted issue...
