    Jack for home barbox maintenance?

No I have not. Here is one. The galvanized steel ring you see between the bottom of the leg and the wood floor is the bearing.

    Jack for home barbox maintenance?

I have the same issue with my Gold Crown. I live in an area that has expansive soils so my house moves a bit from season to season. What I did was buy some heavy duty lazy susan turntable bearings. I think the ones I got had a capacity of 1200# each. I put them under the legs of the table...

Air travel with your cues... what does everyone use?

I use a baseball/softball equipment bag. Basically it's a duffel bag with a separate compartment in the bottom that is large enough to hold bats. That compartment is large enough to hold your cases. The top duffle section has enough room to carry several days worth of clothes. Mine was made...

The softer the tip, the more spin you can get? is this accurate.

Theoretically, the softer material/tip would have a higher coefficient of friction than the harder material and would allow you to apply more spin to the cue ball. However, with that being said, with both tips covered with chalk, you are no longer looking at the coefficient of friction between...

His championships pre-date Mosconi, but Willie Hoppe had a very long career. His first world championship in billiards was in 1906. His last world championship was in 1952.

    9ft vs 7ft

I would get the biggest table you can put in your room and still play on without anything getting in the way of your stroke on any shot.

    True Cost of a Southwest?

Cocobolo, My experience is from 6 years ago. However, when my name came up in Jan 2014 Laurie gave me a price list, and I was not shocked at all. I felt that pricing was more than fair for the cue I was ordering. BTW I got on the wait list in 2003. Hope this helps. By the way, I love my SW...

    league rules concerning forfeits.

In the league that I play in that uses a points system (10 for a win and a point for every ball you make if you lose). You get your average for a forfeit.

About to Captain a Team for the 1st Time in APA - Advice?

I have not been on/captained an APA team for about 15 years. However, one strategy that I used to use was: If you win the coin flip, be the first team to put up a player. What this does, is make other team put a player up first in the 4th round. If you're in the 4th round, the score is 2-1 and...

    Any thoughts on bca vegas

Mike, They did have a change in the policy. In recent years, CSI player members were able to play in the same singles brackets as the league players. This changed this this year so that the CSI player members play in their own bracket. This bracket is pretty much unlimited Fargo Rate/Open...
