try a hard tip. i like tiger hard tips. i rarely miscue and can spin anywhere u wanna go. i think hard tips play more consistantly. worth a try

shafts seem to loose a lot of their "backbone" if you will, when the shafts have a longer tapper.

i think a players stroke puts spin on a ball. tips and ferrules have more affect than shafts IMO. taper is more for comfort and do vary in throw.

i have a long stroke and a pretty tight bridge. i have to have a long taper.

IMO blue is better. but id taken green in good condition over blue in bad.
