Should I get a Predator BK2 or Tiger Impakt break cue?

OMG! Get a custom made cue by a cue maker. Why deal with a factory CNC cue manufacture? Go get a JC cue or Ned Morris cue or any custom made cue. Do NOT pay your money out for a factory made cue!!! (just my opinion).

    Crazy amount of practice

Playing pool will not make a champion over the time spent. You've got to do an assortment of drills over and over to get better. Go find a teacher and get his drill paperwork so you can practice his drills. I've had a great one with Robin Dryer in Portland. Everything he does, he give a...

You are all missing the boat!! Ned Morris cues are the best playing cues I've (and my buddies) played with!

Amazing workmanship. Zero CNC machine. Everything he does is by hand and BY himself. I'm able to go talk to him just as I did with Jerry Franklin in SW cues in the 1980's. I've owned both... BUT Ned's cues are much better workmanship and very playable cues. I suppose you've got to play...

    Looking a new cue maybe

I have a Titleist cue that Ned Morris made into a really nice cue. The Titleist has the longest veneers he's ever seen. Also comes with his C/F Evolution shaft.

    Looking a new cue maybe

Call Ned Morris. Get a great cue built by him and his Evolution C/F shaft. Amazing playability and way better resale than the machine shops; Predator, Meucci, etc.

Why did the 3rd Edition Billiard Encyclopedia Omit Ned Morris? A Mistake?

Ned Morris is very busy. He has loads of materials as he's bought out other cue makers and he'll always be doing repairs and making cues until he says he done. Guess one has to play with his cues to realize what I've written about. Jay Helfert owns one and he knows. My reason for this post...

Why did the 3rd Edition Billiard Encyclopedia Omit Ned Morris? A Mistake?

Building cues for over 30 years. He is an absolutely amazing cue maker. I've seen his work, played with his cues and have seen at least a dozen of his most decorative cues. HOW can he not be in the cue makers of that edition? There must be an answer?? Maybe his paperwork and pictures got...

Jay, Thanks for your post about Ned Morris. It's amazing they did NOT interview him and his cues in the 3rd edition of the Billiard Encyclopedia. There must have been some kind of mistake there. I'm just curious as I've seen his amazing work and own a few of his cues. thanks, Dennis Whitaker

Wondering how to sell a Balabushka cue stick? List it on here or is there another place?

I bought a SW cue in the ACE Pawn shop in middle 80's ( which is now the TV show pawn shop in Las Vegas) for $35. Sold it for $1800.

Wondering how to sell a Balabushka cue stick? List it on here or is there another place?

I'm old, kids have no use for pool cues. I have a few collector cues and am wondering how to get them sold to the right collector. Should I list them on here or is there another website?

    Downtown pool rooms.

In the 80's, I remember the cue club in Las Vegas. Near the corner of Maryland Pky and Sahara. Today, In Salem, Oregon Jim has a pool room right down town with 24-9 foot Brunswick Anniversaries and Centennials. He is getting old and because he owns the whole block, he can get by with it. But...
