Ned Morris Cue Owners, Only Enter Here. Are These the Best?

I didn't mean to be, but here is a cue builder that vertually no one knows about. His fabulous cues should easily equal Tascarella's, SW, and many more in price. People that know his work are sending him for repairs on their cues as he's the best. Just tell me WHOSE cues should be the best...

Ned Morris Cue Owners, Only Enter Here. Are These the Best?

Ned has tons of exotic wood, fiber shafts, kielwood shafts, and everything he would need to produce anything anybody wanted. Maybe someday he'll get back to building fabulous cues. I have a few. The playability is among the best I've ever felt.

Ned Morris Cue Owners, Only Enter Here. Are These the Best?

I have more of his excellent cues that I play with. But these I thought I'd leave them as unplayed. Ned only made about 20-25 exquisite cues like these in his life. About now he is only doing repairs which takes up all of his time. Probably no more self determined cues like these. No time.

Ned Morris Cue Owners, Only Enter Here. Are These the Best?

Here is a few pictures of the "twins" as I call them, but Ned Morris calls these his "pillars" because of the butt section. Everything white is ivory. I have four more that I will be posting in the next few weeks. These cues have never been used. One butt has abalone in the rings and shafts...

Name a pool hall you wish was still open today

My son got intetested in pool at age 13, so he and I used to go down there to play and enter the tournaments. That only lasted about six months before he got interested in baseball and golf. But, at the same time, we ordered cues from Jerry Franklin. Very cheap and took about 3-4 months to...

Name a pool hall you wish was still open today

There will be a great one close in the near future. Salem, Oregon. Cue Ball. Jim has 24 9' tables. All Centennial and Anniversarys. But, he's getting about 80 now, owns the whole block and the state government has wanted to buy it all. Jim is there every day, it is his whole life. He...

Name a pool hall you wish was still open today

Where was the pool hall? I remember "The Cue" in Las Vegas. Corner of Maryland Pky and Sahara. I played there in the middle 80's when my son was interested in pool when he was 13.

The best stroke/cue action you have seen

Robin Dreyer. Still is a pool teacher in Portland, Or. He used to play Kim Davenport a lot of the time. Robin did think Kim was better.

I am hoping when you guys retire, you can have a pool room like we do. I get over there at about 9am, do my in stroke drills and then fire up the ICA projector. Many thousands of Robin's drills on it but right now I'm working on his 8 ball patterns. I can not explain it here but the module is...

    Pocket size

That is true. And to cut the pockets or cheat the pockets, you've got to have 4.5" corners. At that dimension, the pocket can only be cut into 3, not 5 like on the wide open Billiard tables.

    Best "race to" quantity

I have trouble concentrating over 3 hours. What else do we do that requires concentration? Driving... no, watching TV... no, etc. As we get older concentration becomes shorter.

Okay, that is your opinion. Thanks. If someone gives me crap on here, and his score is 65 on the BU tests....
