I see 7 players look to be signed up for the 1 pocket. Any word on other potential players?

Maybe i read this wrong, but you are saying poker never had a certain negative perception surrounding it?

Dress Code for Gold Crown Billiards, Erie, PA

Maybe pool is not very interesting to the average joe, no matter what they dress like. I honestly find all the pool apparel companies with all the cheesy phrases to be way dorkier then shorts, hats, and flip flops. However this is coming from someone who wears a backwards baseball hat most...

    Best all around player ever?

I don't think the Johnston City tournament lasted for 15 years. Lassiter did win a bunch of times though.

    Best all around player ever?

Walter Lindrum didn't play pool, so i wouldn't think he can he counted. Now if we were talking about who dominated their specific cue game, them he might be #1.

Was Daniel Negreanu a pool player?

I am sure many people would disagree with this assessment, including one of the previous posters in this thread....Jay Helfert.

Can one of these guys challenge Johann Chua?

The orignal post said U.S. players, so that would leave out Dennis and DeLuna out. I wouldn't think Josh Roberts would like playing Johann 10 ball. I am not sure about Thorpe's big table 10 ball game, but I would be betting on Johann in that one.

For those that play with custom cues

Are you related to JustinB, by chance? Take a deep breath. After reading all the directions that come with the cue, you should be able to get used to it within a couple years. Jk of course. It is a wooden stick with a tip on it. Probably is going to play somewhat similar to your old cue.

I think most leave, because they get sick of John Barton's never ending rants. :)

    DCC All Around Champ

I think Alex may know how that feels. I remember him telling us years back about how Shane beat him by a fraction of a point (do not remember the exact number), and it cost him the title. Shane beat Neils in 9 ball, and had to come with some pretty sick shots to win.
