A friend of mine bought a lathe, and received these tips with it. He says the lathe had not been used since the 90's, so these are older tips. Just not sure what kind exactly. We think they are Moori's, but want to make sure before he puts them up for sale. Thanks in advance

I have met about 30 people in bars that have an uncle who paid for college by hustling pool. Seriously, I doubt there are very few, if any, that make a decent living from bars and such. It seems like it is hard enough to get $5 a game action at most bars.

I usually quite in the middle of the game, and just prorated depending on what ball I am on. 5 ball in 10 ball pays half. Seriously, some kind of agreement on time or a good warning is good. Quit without warning and you will be hard pressed to find games in the future. There has been many...

I agree! That is super nitty. I had a conversation with a buddy of mine the other day. He likes the call 10 ball rules. I countered with the fact that luck is possible in all the other sports/games...why should pool be any different? If the races are long enough, the better player should win...

Are you guys posting random links, or have you actually been able to watch it? Some of the links I have gone to are bs, and send you to other places and whatnot. ESPN3 seems like a good place to go, but you need to sign in to your cable account, which I do not have.

I kind agree about action in the section. The wanted/for sale section has seemed to change for the worse in the last few years, and some kind of change is probably needed. I enjoyed selling and buying cues, and did it as a hobby. There seems to be a lot more dealer types in the last few years on...

Most around here, and I think the majority now a days, have full kitchens. Without a kitchen, I would think the options are slim, but can be done. One place used to make deli sandwiches, and also had pretzel with chesse, nachos, etc.

You must have not seen any of the low budget pool movies....most of them are absolutely terrible. I am not saying the Color Of Money is good or anything, but it is much better then some of the pool movies that have been made in the last decade or so. I know that may be hard to believe. :)
