Thanks guys. I will try someof these ring type games and see how they work out. I just want to be able to keep everyone in the game and I don't want anyone to lose their shirt.

We have tried cut throat a few times. We stopped playing because whoever gets to break always seems to win. The cribbage game sounds interesting, any idea where I could find the rules?

Every Wednesday before league I have some guys over to warm up and do a little gambling. We usually play a golf game that I have, we set it up as match play, $5 for the front, $10 for the back and $5 for the overall, the most you can lose is $20 to each man. One of the players seems to pay out...

I always call tails on a flip and if the game permits I always rack the 3 ball as the head ball. The angry 3 ball will get you every time :thumbup:

Our local hall ran a US-Open qualifier a couple years back. Ronny Wiseman shows up and I am lucky enough to get him right off the hop. I am pretty nervous about playing his, its a race to 7 on a 9-footer. We were playing on black crowns that have some strange pockets, not sure what is different...

Goldenboy, there are a few Edmonton players that hang around the boards, hopefully you can find a practice partner. I was in Edmonton last summer for a few months and there are lots of weekly tournaments around that you can play in. H2O Lounge has one on Thursday night and on Sunday. Chrome...

I can hold my own at both pool and horseshoes. I play one all winter and the other all summer. As for the darts, I am just average but slowly getting better.

Monthly 9-ball tournament, played on 7.5' diamond tables. $20 entry at Rack N Roll billiards in Sarnia, Ontario Clacutta starts around noon with tournament beginning shortly after.

Rack N Roll Billiards in Sarnia, Ontario has a 9' Diamond. Don't come on a Friday though, there is a scotch doubles game on the table every Friday afternoon.
