    Plain Jane Wrapless

Thanks! I appreciate the kind words! I was really happy how nice the logo came out. I think I spent more time on the logo than on the inlays I put in some other cues:p

No inlays on this one. I thought the wood looked pretty enough on it's own. Specs: 18.2 oz. (14.4 butt / 3.8 shaft) balanced 18 1/2" from butt cap 13mm dia. tip .850" dia. joint (Black phenolic) 1.250 dia. Butt cap (Black phenolic) 3/8-10 joint pin Titan ferrule Laminted "Pigskin Pro" Tip...

    It's been a while

I spent a lot of time learning to use my new CNC machine, but I'm finally getting some cues done. Had a little trouble with the dice inlays on this one, but I just had to finish it anyway:embarrassed2: Specs: 18.6 oz. (14.8 butt / 3.8 shaft) balanced 18 1/2" from butt cap 13mm dia. tip .850"...

    Veneer screwup

I guess it could have been MY player..... .....but it definitely never would have been "sent out". Even if it was just mine, I'd always be waiting for someone to ask, "Did you make that?" It may not have been that obvious in the pictures, but it looks like sh*t in person.

    Veneer screwup

No, it was more like this.... ..............:speechless::banghead::barf: BTW, it's been sold

Too late! Sorry, Trent beat you to it :D

    Veneer screwup

Just got done turning down some forearms and found a problem with one. I use .040" veneers, but two of the veneer strips (orange outer veneer) must have actually been .030". That will teach me to check them in the future. Instead of just putting it in the burn pit, I thought I'd see if...

    Ebony forearm cues

Just started Here's one that I just finished putting in the points. It's a long way from being a finished cue, but it is an ebony forearm.

    Is taper roll acceptable?

Well said! Amen to that brother! The only difference is that I've never been slapped by a cue for touching it inappropriately :p

My Latest and FINAL creation ...

Congratulations! Nice job Tony, but I think your wife deserves the lion's share of the credit for this latest creation. You were there for the fun part and then she did the work :p

    My Turn for Logo Evaluation

Another vote for the upper left....... ....but I also agree with Rick that it may not be the easiest to translate to CNC.

    What do you think?

Thanks to all. Just wanted to thank everyone who responded. I like the design, but I did want to get some "objective" opinions. I do agree with Rick that smaller would be better. The smallest cutter I've used so far is .020", so that was the limiting factor in the size of my design. I plan...

    What do you think?

I've been trying to come up with a logo for some time. Being "Bill the Cat", I make "Cat Cues". Just wondering what people think of this logo for my cues. Sorry for the crappy pics.....I really have to get a decent camera:o

Feedback on 3 cues I am building

Very unique! I'm a fan of non-traditional cues. Not everyone will like what you do, but, for those that can appreciate your imagination, they will have something truly unique. Keep up the good work!

After 25 years of cuemaking...i'm calling it quits

Wishing you the best! Sorry to hear you will be leaving the craft...hope you won't be leaving the forum. You have been (IMHO) one of the more respected contributors since I joined a number of years ago. Hope your ball runs keep going up and your golf score keeps going down:thumbup:
