    What would you have done?

From CSI / BCAPL Official Rules 3. Situation: Player A, preparing to shoot a jump shot, unscrews the extended butt from their jump-break cue and places it in a pocket. They then forget that the butt is in the pocket and leave it there after their inning. Player B shoots and a ball (a) rebounds...

    Tournament "Top Lady"

No flyer, it's just a weekly tournament. 3rd is always separate from 4th in a dbl elmination 16 player bracket.

    Tournament "Top Lady"

So are you in the camp that would go with Top Lady that doesn't finish in the money? Plenty of capable men including a 690 Fargo didn't make the money. Sometimes shit happens when the balls start flying.

    Tournament "Top Lady"

You really think it's a tie? The woman that finished 3rd played for the hot seat. The woman that finished 4th was put in the losers bracket first round of a 16 player bracket. There is a tie for 7th & 8th along with 5th & 6th - not for 3rd & 4th.

What do you guys think of this estimate?

My better half & I just had our Gold Crown put together this summer. We supplied the cloth, our mechanic supplied the new rails & extended the sub rails to our desired specs. All in for the assembly / installation was $1200 + the cost of the cloth. So $2550 to me would be way too much!!

"You don't swing golf, you play golf"

There are many subtle differences in the saying that lead directly to the same meaning. Knowing ones game and as u said executing the shots well without mechanics/fundamentals in mind is the key. It’s about leaving the practice tee/table behind & playing the game!!

"You don't swing golf, you play golf"

Not a belief, it's a real problem that golfers face out there every day. It's paralysis by analysis.

"You don't swing golf, you play golf"

The saying in whatever form is about people who are so wrapped up in the mechanics of the swing that they can't play the game. Now the question really is does this exist in the billiards world?

    I Wish Tip Makers Would...

There are probably players out there that like their tips tall / thick. A tip can always be taken down to a customers liking. Adding to a tip that is too short might be problematic.

Proposed rules for tournament slow play in One Pocket and Banks

Justin Bergman won the Colorado Shootout, lost in the semi-final of the Open. You are very correct about his pace of play, it was just fine throughout the tournament from what I could see.

In the above scenario it is going to be your opponents shot period with no option in most if not all rule sets.

    Colorado Open Sept 13-25 2024

    1) 8 made on the break spots. The interesting thing about that is if you don’t make another ball along with the eight, you lose your turn. 2) Don’t have to call anything, just hit your group first. 3) You can play safe. 4) I sure hope this doesn’t become standardized!!

I want a new jump cue

If you have to get something new the Jacoby Jumper at $200.00 will perform just as well or better than it's way more expensive counterparts.
