The K medium black has a funny squish click sound, I put my second shaft on with the K Brown medium and it sounds solid and plays as well IMO. The black tip is playing good but has a different sound, can't hear it on a firm stroke but is audible on lighter stroke. I'll give it a few weeks.

I just turn the dial up or down on the cue, that seems to work best until it sticks then I either go long on every shot or short on every shot. I've needed a new dial for the last couple of weeks, Really I use 1/2 - 1'' - 2'' - 3+" through cue ball, 3+" is a (full stroke but not break stroke)...

The first moori I used came apart, I started using everest and have been content. It is time for a new tip and I will try a Kamui Black, I like a med h to hard tip it allows for jumping partial balls and have had no probs when I need to masse some. I like to hear a crisp hit over a thud anyday...

Rubber tips anyone! there is a definite difference in the way one holds chalk over another and that may be the noticeable difference in the action you get. I don't know how thick the layer of chalk would be, but adhesion would be a big factor. If you're not getting good adhesion from the tip...
