Ppl do change, somewhat over time, but I believe you still are the core person you always were. If, in your example, that the person you knew 10 years ago was under 20 (at the time), then that person may not have even fully "became an adult" yet. Some feel that you aren't fully, emotionally...

I won't discount your experience but will say that its very out of character for LJ to act that way deliberately. From my experience as an aquaintence, when she lived in Hillsborough, NJ, she is generally a happy-go-lucky type and doesnt have a mean bone in her body. Eric
