Thanks, Russ. I've played a lot of snooker, but we always played you needed to hit a rail.. ... How much is a foul? 7? Or the number of the colored ball........ 4 or more? Any other different rules than American Snooker?

I guess I don't know all the rules to English Snooker...... what contitues a fouol? I see them pushing up behind balls and "no rail" shots" with no penalty..... what's the deal? Anyone know??
