I use Tapatalk on my iPad. Mainly because it's convenient but also because I want to avoid any possibility of malware on my main Windows 7 PC. Sure would like to see a Tapatalk update, though. Maybe support for emoticons and polls. :cool:

Yep, meant replacing ferrules. My fingers sometimes get ahead of my brain. I hate replacing threaded ferrules because of the time it takes to clean up the threads. Maybe this is something Chris Hightower might want to take a look at. No way could I build one.

I use a slightly damp towel. Wipe it 2-3 times from joint to tip holding the towel firmly on the shaft. You should hear it "squeak". Immediately, use the dry part of the towel to completely remove the moisture. I do this at least once or twice on league night. Been using this method for years...

I lightly scuff mine occasionally with a little square of 80 grit paper. But the tips last basically forever. And break great.

Exactly. And the smart captains try to play that to their advantage. I always tried to put up first and that gave me a better chance of controlling who played my horse. I was an 8 and playing a good 2 or 3 was brutal.
