The official uniloc instructions say tap with 7/16x20.....but Where did you order the insert from? There are, as stated above, after market inserts that have a 7/16x14 which are now the only ones I use. If your insert is 7/16x14....then tap baby...tap it at that!🤣

Tom M offered those Quick release 3/8x10 about 15 or so yrs ago. Would not use them unless going into phenolic or brass inserts IMO

Small orders of the small items seem fast....I missed the 1 spot where it states the dymalux panels are made to order and take 3-6 weeks. ONLY 1 SPOT does it say it.....should be on every page of dymalux products, IMHO.

UPDATE: I filed for a refund thru Paypal and magically in about 15 minutes time, I got a response from CWP, then got 3 more over the afternoon.....Problem is resolved....but I shouldn't have to do that just to get a resposnse as to where my order is.

Has anybody bought stuff from Cousineau Wood Products lately? Got an email from them as usual with a sale for dymalux panels so I put an order in 14 days ago, and have emailed/called/FB messaged and radio silence....... really not happy as it is a $$$ order and I need the materials.

Yep....get a mandrel and the problem will disappear. On ANY joint....the pin does not make the alignment, it's the facing of the butt and shaft joints meeting together and being perfectly flat in relation to the center line of both pieces.

looking at that...first of all what brand of carbon fiber shaft? secondly.....the alignment of the fibers for a carbon fiber shaft go from butt to tip....so VERY hard to have crack go perfectly against the grain if you will.....from the pictures it looks more like a scratch from a tip shaping...

Do you have a cue in your signature? As in your post, there is a picture of a cue at the bottom....right below your final sentence.....thought that was the cue you were referencing.
