Thanks for the responses guys. I would sell a machine like this for $6000. Of cousre some things would still needed to be added. A better spindle for inlays, Mach3, and a good CADCAM. I would also need a little time to build it. Jim.

Actually, I have taperd several items on this lathe. I would spin the wood at between 100 and 300 rpm though spindle can do up to 750 or 1k. I don't like feeding faster than 15 ipm and only 6 ipm on final passes of handles. I have not done alot of shafts on this machine though I can't see why...
