    New tip

I am always amazed at what I read on here...for example...over a year, never mushrooms, my goodness...what do you guys do?...just bunt the ball around the table? When I was playing every day, usually 6-8 hours at least, I have never had a tip last more than 30 days. And that includes EVERY tip...

    14.1 And Tight Pockets?

Tight pockets are great for practice and tuning up your game, but have no place in tournament play. Maybe if you run into me on the road somewhere I will explain, but I will not argue the point on this forum.

It is a model D-22 that someone has installed black ferrules on the shafts. Retailed for 395 and 450 w/2 shafts. The Super Mac case looks to be in good condition with the optional accessory compartment and is worth between 150-200 dollars.

Might just be my bad eye sight and the fuzzy pics, but it looks like the cue you have is actually signed and not a transfer.

Any Interest In A McDermott Sneaky Pete?

The book value on these cues are very low and a bit misleading. I have sold many for 300+ dollars. I have also sold used beat up ED's in the 150-250 range.

Shooting good one day and bad the next?

I have analyzed this phenomena with my own play and that of others. What I have found out and can attribute it to, is overconfidence. After a particular session where I didn't miss a ball for hours against my opponent and gathered up all the cash, the next day I could'nt hit the end rail. I...

    Ever been jarred before?

Never happened to me while playing pool, but one time I sat down at a poker game at the Horseshoe in LV, playing pretty high with some well known players. After about an hour, I was making some unusual calls and sluffing off a good amount of cash which is not how the game rolls for me. I was...

Bad move, the tip burnisher will pull the layers apart if used agressively. The sides should be trimmed by a competent mechanic.

Whats the strangest thing you played for?

Won about a year of lawn mowing from a local landscaping gambler. That was really nice when the summer temps were around 100 degrees. A local Whataburger manager used to frequent the pool hall on his break times. He couldnt beat anyone in the place, and whoever got matched up with him, would...
