    Something for all of you.

Sent to a friend that really needs to burn his table but this vid has all he needs and he has the brains, tools, and knows how to use both. Wallet isn't the fattest and why I sent it. He can afford his own labor and likely materials. That's what this vid is for IMO Thanks

    Cleaning balls: wtf happened?!

All I'm saying is there's folks that say pool balls should never be in contact with water. Not that water alone is a good agent for cleaning unless you drop your peanut butter and jelly sandwich on a rack of balls.

    Cleaning balls: wtf happened?!

Tough crowd here as always. All I was trying to do is prompt some folks to do some research. Seems I may have failed........Again. I haven't read this entire thread to find see if a polymer expert chimed in. So it seems the resin used for billiard balls is a Phenolic resin vs a Resole type...

    Cleaning balls: wtf happened?!

So I spent about 15seconds to come up with that list. Here's a list that took a couple more minutes to locate. The website is from a Company that manufacturers Counter Tops for Chemical Laboratories. Notice how they prep the material before inspection after exposure to the various chemicals...

How do you train beginner beginner?

Lousy environments to play pool IMO. One reason I quit. Like Fran's approach. Find out who she is and find out the whys and whats. In Sales, if you don't know the needs and just pitch the pitch, without asking questions? You're gonna be a loser, and you're not gonna be of any help to anyone Ever!

5 min Epoxy. The correct answer!

Didn't read this entire thread but agree. Anyone in your business using quick glues?? Frankly don't have a clue. I waited over a year for a cue from Dieckman that was essentially done. Except the Shafts. The 2nd one took over 2 years. That one was from scratch. Using 5 minute glue on...

Using an induction heater to remove a pin

This may be of no value here. I've watched induction heating a few times. Once at Cleveland Twist Drill where they were silver soldering carbide to a drill. Only maybe a 1/16" beyond what needed to get red hot, got got red hot. To me that's the beauty of Induction. Very focused/controlled.

    Tuck and Roll

As was said before, this seems like Back Hand English. Can you tell me what the difference is? I've spent considerable time making sure I don't swipe the CB and feeling much better about a straight stroke. What is the advantage of the swipe?? Serious question!!

Who makes the best wooden shafts?

IMO Dennis Dieckman is top of list. But, he's busy playing at the Big Sky Billiard Room. His shaft wood was 20yr and older Hard Maple. He took a year or 2 to finish one after the blank was gnats ass away from done. He measured runout on one of mine after 5 or 8 years. Forget the number...

Signed cue. Need help figuring out names.

Cool way to answer the question. Keep it up folks. For one I enjoy watching the Old Greats. Hopefully once we run out of vids a couple of our Historians will clean up the remaining names for the OP.
