    Great Stuff from Niels F.......................

Yes, excellent material by The Terminator. I used this dart technique to jump the point and pocket the 8 ball shown here to complete my break and run in this ten ball rack a couple of weeks ago. Big thanks to Neils for this great instruction.

    T-Rex updates

I wouldn't use the word "erudite" in the pool room. I would fear that the pugnacious fury of the unwashed would decend upon me. Lol

is there benefit to increasing table difficulty factor on my home table?

Sick. I think Taylor Swift will win the Superbowl and also deliver me from my sins. Praise be.

is there benefit to increasing table difficulty factor on my home table?

What brand table is currently en vogue for match room? Rasson?

is there benefit to increasing table difficulty factor on my home table?

True, but AZB's venerable member Atlarge's copious statistics he has compiled for years now do not suggest to me that the pro b & r rate in 9 or 10 ball is high enough that on balance major packages are being put up at a pace that somehow ruins the contest, regardless of playing conditions. I...

is there benefit to increasing table difficulty factor on my home table?

Thanks for this. Even if these packages do happen, they happen infrequently enough to be a special occurrence IMHO, worthy of the "must see" in the title of the video.

is there benefit to increasing table difficulty factor on my home table?

Standard for 9 ball and 10 ball? I still prefer to think of pool as a collection of games, unlike snooker. Pool, as I see it anyway, generally includes 8 ball, 9 ball, 10 ball, banks, onepocket, 14.1....hell, even Honolulu. 4" pockets with deep shelves like on a diamond are a detriment to...

is there benefit to increasing table difficulty factor on my home table?

One more thought on this. As a home table owner (9' Diamond pro), I'm not about to spend the money to keep the cloth in new-ish playing condition. Once the cloth is less than new, it absolutely plays tougher. If one would tighten the pockets and then not recover the table, then those...

is there benefit to increasing table difficulty factor on my home table?

For your consideration: https://www.theactionreport.com/ "One thing that makes this match stand out is it took place at the TAR Studio when the table was a specially made version from Diamond Billiards with extremely tight 4 inch pockets. The table was so tight and could impact play at times...

    Shout out to Cornerman

That's real cool. I look forward to hearing some more of your commentary.

    Shout out to Cornerman

So I was just feeling lazy today and was watching some of the older 8 ball tourney matches at Griff's from 2018. I didn't realize it but I finally heard the name of the commentators and lo and behold one of them was AZB's Cornerman. I enjoyed your take on the match, well done. Cheers, JL

Well you still shoot one helluva stick my friend. Well played.

is there benefit to increasing table difficulty factor on my home table?

Good thought here. Too tight is bad. Cheating pockets is a major aspect of pool, which is why it's different from snooker. It's obviously best to be able to find center pocket, but still be able to cheat the pocket when desired. It may be limiting to the thought process if pockets are too...

    My Rhino experience

I bought my Rhino shaft over a month ago and have used it for many many break shots since. Cleaned it once with alcohol and never since. I've not noticed any black residue after the initial cleaning for what it's worth.

    My Rhino experience

I assume you are a cue maker based on your AZB handle? In any event, you make a fair point. I assume that Rhino intends on playing in the lower price point category, and as such, any analysis should take this into consideration. Not trying to make excuses for them, but it be what it do

    It's been a while.

I see that you've played a few games in your lifetime, welcome back to the poolroom. I took a break for 5 years playing outside of my house myself and almost stopped playing entirely. I'm glad I started back in the pool room recently, turns out there are costs associated with being a hermit.

    My Rhino experience

Don't know about this and frankly, I can't summon the energy to care. My life is problematic enough with top tier issues to address and correct...this one I can deal with after 100 lifetimes have gone by.
